The Challenge
Reliability and scalability are key challenges in the ecommerce industry due to global traffic coming from different countries with different peaks on different campaign durations. With millions of visitors from all over the world, modanisa must ensure their applications are always available and are able to scale quickly for peak volumes globally.
The Solution
Oredata had created an organization, cloud resources, projects, landing zone, network, storage buckets, Managed Instance Groups and Google Cloud Kubernetes Engine clusters as per Modanisa’s requirements. Oredata assisted Modanisa to migrate the application used images, backups, mission critical objects to Google Cloud Storage which assisted Modanisa to serve data globally with minimal latency.
The Result
Modanisa has implemented a solution on Google Cloud to handle uncertain volumes which is able to scale up when peak times and on campaign times, scale down when the expected global traffic is low so that cost optimization is in effect and resources are used in the best way possible resulting in cost savings.
